Real Estate Industry’s Best Brand in New York - 2012
Cushman & Wakefield has the best brand reputation in the commercial real estate industry in New York, according to a subscriber survey conducted by The Wall Street Journal marketing department in conjunction with Beta Research Corp.
The survey polled more than 1,200 Journal subscribers in the U.S. on brand familiarity and reputation across the commercial real estate industry. The results show that 86.4 percent responded that Cushman & Wakefield had an "excellent" or "very good" brand reputation in the Greater New York region.

Cushman & Wakefield won Corenet’s prestigious Sustainability Leadership Award in 2011. In 2009, Cushman & Wakefield was the first real estate services firm to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) aimed at addressing environmental efficiencies in the commercial real estate sector. Cushman & Wakefield's Environmental Challenge is a corporate initiative developed to reinforce and track commitments outlined in the MOU. EPA WasteWise New Business Partner of the Year – 2010
Cushman & Wakefield was the 2010 WasteWise New Business Partner of the Year for its impressive strides in promoting waste prevention and recycling throughout the organization. Combined, 145 Cushman & Wakefield facilities reported more than 11,250 tons of waste prevention and recycling. Altogether the company’s initiatives prevented more than 35,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents from entering the atmosphere, equivalent to the annual emissions from 6,500 cars.
